There has been cricket farming in Thailand for decades. Most cricket farms are small scale compares to traditional livestock and labor intensive. Using relevant technologies and a modular vertical farming system can help increase yields and lower production costs to make insect protein competitive. Currently Thai Ento Food uses high quality crickets from GAP certified contracted farms to produce Sixtein® protein powder. We also aim to help farmers to have sustainable and fair income.
